Chocolate Quinoa Krispies

Low sugared, zero fat snack


This is so delicious and what makes it so desirable, is that it takes minutes to prepare a big batch. To be stored in the fridge in an air right container.

High in protein and magnesium.


200g dark chocolate (better the quality, better the taste)
2 cups of quinoa
2 tbsps olive oil
1 cup of Rice Krispies
1 tbsp honey


Heat a flat pan, heat olive oil and add quinoa and spread out thinly for approx. 5 minutes until you hear popping. It won't be cooked, it will be crisped.

Meanwhile, heat chocolate in microwave glass bowl for 30 seconds, or until chocolate has melted. Or place on hob, in a pan of boiling water. Leave melted chocolate to cool for 5 minutes.

Mix chocolate and quinoa, add Rice Krispies, then honey to taste. You can be adventurous and throw in seeds and spices, such as turmeric, vanilla extract, cayenne or a pinch of Pink salt.
